Why We Built This

Most YouTube income calculators estimate AdSense earnings — not sponsorship rates. But for most creators with over 10,000 subscribers, brand sponsorships are a far larger income source than AdSense.

Existing tools from vidIQ, InfluencerMarketingHub, and Social Blade focus on ad revenue. None offer a dedicated sponsorship rate calculator with a proper pricing formula. This tool fills that gap.

Methodology

Our pricing formula is based on the industry-standard sponsorship CPM model:

basePrice = (avgViews × nicheCPM) / 1000

× geoMultiplier

× engagementMultiplier

× placementMultiplier

× subAuthorityMultiplier

× consistencyBonus

× channelAgeBonus

× countryMultiplier

× exclusivityPremium (if on)

× usageRightsPremium (if on)

× q4SeasonalPremium (if on)

Conservative = recommended × 0.55. Premium = recommended × 2.2. These brackets represent a realistic negotiation range — not guaranteed outcomes.

Data Sources

  • Influencer Marketing Hub Creator Rate Report (2025–2026)

Privacy & Data

This tool does not collect any data you enter. All calculations happen entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server. We do not know your subscriber count, your earnings, or your channel. This is a fully client-side tool with no backend.

Our Team & Credentials

YT Calculators was built by a team with direct experience in the creator economy — spanning YouTube channel management, influencer marketing agency work, and brand partnership consulting. Our team has reviewed hundreds of real creator brand deal contracts, worked directly with YouTube creators at every subscriber tier from nano (under 5,000) to mega (over 1 million), and benchmarked rates across all major brand categories.

Our CPM benchmarks are not guesswork or algorithmically scraped data. They are derived from real deal data, published industry surveys, and cross-referenced against creator earnings disclosed in public reporting and creator community benchmarks. We believe in transparent, honest benchmarks that help creators negotiate from a position of knowledge rather than speculation.

How Often We Update This Tool

We review and update our CPM benchmarks quarterly, cross-referencing against the latest industry survey data, publicly reported creator deals, and brand advertising trends. The creator economy shifts quickly — particularly in fast-moving categories like AI/ML sponsorships and new content formats like YouTube Shorts. Our goal is for the rate benchmarks to remain within 10–15% of real-world deal medians across all tiers.

Significant market shifts — such as economic downturns affecting brand budgets, new high-spending brand categories emerging, or platform policy changes affecting monetization — trigger ad-hoc updates outside the quarterly cycle. Each benchmark update is reviewed against at least three independent data sources before being reflected in the calculator.

Last Updated

Limitations & Disclaimers

The rates produced by this calculator are benchmarks and estimates — not guarantees. Actual brand deal rates vary based on factors our calculator cannot capture: the specific brand's budget cycle, the negotiating dynamics of individual relationships, platform exclusivity demands, and the qualitative fit between a creator's brand identity and a sponsor's campaign goals.

Use our estimates as a starting anchor for negotiations — not as a ceiling. Creators with exceptional engagement metrics, highly concentrated premium audiences, or strong track records of brand results routinely command rates well above our recommended tier. The calculator gives you a data-backed floor; your negotiation skills and brand relationships determine how far above that floor you can go.
